Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to provide comprehensive healthcare management, including treatment of female patients at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, MS.
Responsibilities
- Obtain medical histories and conduct medical assessments and clinical exams with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology
- Perform and/or order appropriate diagnostic tests to diagnose disorders and provide treatment
- Prescribe appropriate medications
- Educate patients about disease, disease prevention, and recommend medications or management
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Provide antenatal and post-partum medical care during pregnancy and childbirth
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Fully licensed as a doctor of medicine to practice medicine in Mississippi
- Board certified obstetrician-gynecologist
- The medical license shall have no restrictions and prior action by the medical licensing authority shall be disclosed
- Current Controlled Drug Substance license and DEA license
Salary : $160,000 - $208,000
