What are the responsibilities and job description for the CERTIFIED ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELOR position at VITALITY UNLIMITED?
Vitality Unlimited, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, serving the population of Nevada for 50 years, provides both substance abuse counseling and supportive services. CADCs already licensed in the State of Nevada will receive a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and $2,000 moving bonus is available.
We are looking for an experienced substance abuse counselor with program management experience to:
- Provide counseling service to clients
- Timely completion of client paperwork
- Main up to date and accurate client records
- Maintain state required certifications
- Work with diverse populations
- Demonstrate dependability and adaptability
- Cultivate relationships with referring agencies and other outside resources
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Master's Degree and LADC
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria
- Knowledge of psychotropic drugs, symptoms and effects
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
