What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Middletown position at VitalSkin Dermatology?
As a Medical Assistant, you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting our dermatology providers. You ensure that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care. You demonstrate consistent adherence to the practices standards and procedures. You assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.
This is an on-site position at our Bella Pelle dermatology practice. Compensation range is $18-$22 an hour depending on experience.
Preferred: EMR experience (ModMed (Ema), CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and previous scribing and clinical experience.
You have a passion for working in the healthcare environment. You are a team player, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, a go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, take initiative, detailed oriented, positive, personable, and professional in all your interactions. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
