Electronics Engineering Technician

Position Overview

• Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level.
• Final “box build”, testing and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.
• Repair, test, & calibrate customer units that have been returned for service.
• Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management.
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and application assistance.
• Work in a team environment with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing personnel.

• A thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory
• A 2-year degree in electronics and or military school
• 2 years of experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
• Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.
• Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools including SMT soldering and de-soldering is a plus.
• Ability to work well with others, follow instructions and meet company goals.
• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and meet quality and safety standards.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range

Salary : $30 - $40
