What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulic Technician position at VJP HYDRAULICS?
Accepting experienced or entry level applicants for Hydraulic Technician Position. We will train the right candidate.
- Break down Hydraulic components/cylinders
- Identify required parts to prepare for assembly and perform inspections on parts and other various components
- Build units according to engineering specifications, including the following: Component layout; Fabricating miscellaneous brackets and structures; Selection of appropriate tubing and fittings; Tube bending, fabrication and installation
- Prep, paint, and test completed units; Adjust components and equipment and perform troubleshooting to identify/resolve issues
- Clean, organize, and maintain the Shop and equipment
Required:
Must be Mechanically inclined and general knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to lift over 50lbs and stand on feet all day
Willingness to work in team setting as well as able to work individually.
Positive attitude
Eagerness to learn a new field
Good work ethic and steady work history
Desired:
Knowledge of hydraulic component repair
Previous repair shop setting experience
Heavy equipment repair experience
Millwright background
Precise measuring instrumentation experience (Calipers/Micrometers)
Welding or conventional machining experience
