Connections Senior Associate Media- Freelance
Summary: The role of a Connections Senior Associate is to assist in delivering campaigns for our clients. The Connections Senior Associate is responsible for helping to create and maintaining media campaigns for our clients across all media channels (Search, Social, Display, Video, Native & More). The role is dedicated to a specific client(s) to fulfill media operation excellence with VML’s approach to digital media.
Responsibilities:
- Daily campaign check ins and ensure that all required campaigns are live/paused/ended
- Digital platforms spend and pacing management; re-allocating unspent dollars based on calculations, performance, and business objectives.
- Develop Platform Trafficking Sheet by interpreting requirements brief within the parameters of specific platform, campaign, and objective
- Provide recommendations to analytics team and Media strategist for changes within bid strategies, audiences, and creatives.
- Upload/edit digital campaigns within Digital Media Platforms (Meta Business Manager, DV360, Google Ads, LinkedIn & More
- Utilize and understand large data dumps to upload/change/ create campaigns through bulk processes
- Navigate through all digital platforms required to service a client
- Identify platform optimization needs and work with Media Strategists and/or Associate Media Director to level-set performance
- Interpretation and execution of media optimization roadmaps across channels, independently from direct report.
- Assists with training and onboarding of Associate Connections Manager
- Passing off trafficking requirements to offshore Ad Ops team
Qualifications:
- 1– 3 years professional work experience, Advertising or Media Agency Experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year media experience
- Specific understanding of digital media buying, trafficking, and pacing across Paid Search, Programmatic, and Paid Social channels
- Strong mathematical reasoning skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Strong self-management and time management skills
- Professional and Proactive Communication skills
- Strong Excel spreadsheet experience
