Staff Engineer

Manage commercial and residential land development projects with assistance from a licensed professional engineer. Review and outline design parameters and confirm with professional engineer. Develop site grading and drainage; detention; and storm water system designs with supervision from licensed professional engineer. Execute calculations justifying designs and perform detention analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and studies to guide the design under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer. Participate in and coordinate with team for the preparation of construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D for multiple site development and public works projects. Prepare contract documents and specifications. Communicate with clients regarding civil engineering aspects of projects. Manage competing demands and schedules to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:Masters degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years of work experience in civil engineering or land development. Work experience should include two (2) years of work with a) site grading and drainage principles, detention analysis, and storm water quality; b) hydrologic and hydraulic analysis; and c) AutoCAD Civil 3D.
