Job Description
We are looking for a mechanical SolidWorks designer to join our engineering team. This role will involve close collaboration with the Production department to design pump packages and engineered piping systems. Key responsibilities will include creating detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings for customer view and production.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed customer drawings for approval and certification.
- Develop shop drawings for fabrication, layout, and assembly.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain/Update CAD Library.
- Develop detailed BOM's.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience with design validation and verification processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
