Volunteer Home Care Jackson is hiring for a full-time Branch Office Assistant.
Branch Office Assistant, Jackson TN Branch
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 PM
The Branch Office Assistant ensures the operational success of the home health care branch office. As the first contact for visitors, guests, and field staff, the successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate initiative, remain organized and on task without constant supervision. A high degree of motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Minimum of one year of clerical experience in a medical office setting
- Minimum of one year of experience with data entry with demonstrated proficiency
in typing at a minimum of 50 WPM. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
- Strong organizational skills
- Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player

Responsibilities include:
-Assuring telephone calls are answered in a professional and courteous manner,
-Preparation of branch correspondence, -Managing agency forms to include inventory and maintenance,
-Generates reports as requested,
-Prepares outgoing mail and routes incoming mail,
-Prepares and scans documents into the EMR system,
-Tracks and maintains inventory and other duties as assigned
