Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Remedy Developer with a solid background in Linux to support and enhance our ITSM systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining BMC Remedy applications while also working on Linux-based server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BMC Remedy applications and workflows.
- Customize Remedy forms, filters, escalations, and active links based on business requirements.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and performance tuning of Remedy systems.
- Work on Remedy API integrations with external systems.
- Manage Remedy servers hosted on Linux platforms.
- Write and maintain scripts (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with IT teams for troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date for system configurations and procedures.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience in Remedy development.
- Proficient in BMC Remedy AR System, ITSM Suite, Smart Reporting, and Developer Studio.
- Strong Linux administration skills (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar).
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Bash, or Python).
- Familiarity with SQL and database systems (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
