Job Description:
The TLC Associate plays a critical role in the regulatory requirements for operating our vehicles in New York City. They interact with the DMV and the TLC—two government agencies that manage the licensing of rideshare vehicles—to submit, confirm and respond to various forms. While much of the work is done from the office, there are times when the associate must visit the DMV, TLC or other government agencies to rectify certain documentation issues. The team interacts with the CSR and Fleet teams to give or receive updates on certain vehicles.
Essential Job Functions:
- Submit documentation for transfers, renewals and new TLC applications or DMV Registrations
- Fill out reports and track status of applications
- File and pay relevant summons, as directed by the TLC Manager
- Update databases and lists with relevant deadlines and appointment dates
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work onsite, this is not a remote role
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Qualifications Needed:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attentive to detail and extremely organized is a requirement
- Proficient use of Google Suite, Excel and MS Word Skills
- Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
- The ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bi-lingual a PLUS (Spanish, Arabic, Russian and any other languages welcome)
