JOB DESCRIPTION   Job Title:                     Pre-Weigher    FLSA Status:  Exempt                              Non-Exempt            X              Department:                Compounding   Manager’s Title:          Compounding Manager   Purpose   Weigh Inventory, Perform Incoming Adjustments, Pull Samples of Incoming Materials and Stage for Production Runs in Compounding.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Outline the major job duties and responsibilities for this position, beginning with the most important.   Key Task Description (include responsibilities, decisions, and/or recommendations for each task) Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) 1 Read and interpret work order requirements D 2 Understand and use FIFO rotation system D 3 Understand and use JD Edwards system, including issuance of materials to work orders and adjusting inventory for return to stock items D 4 Use scales to accurately weigh chemicals for batching D 5 Stage bulk chemicals for batching D 6 Understand and obey all GMP and Safety practices D 7 Keep accurate records of transactions D 8 Use aseptic techniques when opening and dispensing from containers. D 9 Maintain required log books D 10 Perform other duties as assigned.
