Supply Chain and Operations Solution Architect

Overview

VTG is seeking a Supply Chain and Operations Solution Architect, responsible for project leadership, growth, operations, and execution performance of Supply Chain projects enabled by digital capabilities. The Solution Architect is also responsible for supporting the identification, qualifications, proposing, responding, and execution of new contracts within the Federal Government, specifically the DoD.

What will you do?

• Operations
• Moderate responsibility for advancing the Digital Solutions business with an emphasis on Logistics, Supply Chain and Operational Readiness in Land based operations, Aviation and Maritime.
• Strong leadership and command of all projects and requirements contributing to the success of the projects under her / his responsibility.
• Communicate financial performance of the project across all factors – Resources, ODCs and Travel.
• Work across line and indirect organizations to identify opportunities for improving quality, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Clearly communicate achievements and growth areas of the projects and within the Account
• Keep management apprised of customer and competitor environments.
• Promote and oversee compliance with all corporate operational policies and standards.

• Identify and understand federal government customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.

• 8 years’ related experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Quality or Engineering services industry with demonstrated project performance.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, execution, and results.
• Knowledge of federal business acquisition process.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; thorough, clear, and timely oral and written communications; Ability to make formal presentations.
• Demonstrated subject matter credibility.
• Attention to detail and superior time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). PowerBI and Power Automate are a “Plus”
• Eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
• Willing to travel [Hybrid format working conditions]
• Must be able to work on-site when needed
  
  

• Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree: Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Operations, Manufacturing
  
  

• Mathematical Skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of financial planning and performance. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
