What are the responsibilities and job description for the Badger Burrow Manager- Student Employment Opportunity (Workstudy Eligibility Not Required) position at VTSU?
Students in this position will be in charge of the care and maintenance of the Badger Burrow, Boutique and Pantry. As well as supervising the Badger Burrow Supervisors.
Managers will work the Assistant Director of Student Activities to make sure that all students are fulfilling their roles properly as well as assigning duties and tasks as needed. Such as filling out duty logs, checking inventory and updating the Assistant Director of Student Activities on items that may need ordering.
This role will be given to students in either the Secretary of Campus Activities or Deputy Secretary of Campus Activities position in the Johnson Student Government Association.
During their shifts they will check out items for students in the Burrow, clean and organize all three spaces, as well as take inventory as needed. As well an active log of items that have been checked out and returned.
They will also be in charge of scheduling events with SLAP and campus clubs in the Burrow as well as helping run SLAP events around campus as needed.
They will report to the Assistant Director of Student Activities, and Public Safety to coordinate events, and any damaged or missing items, or incidents that happen in the Burrow, Pantry, or Boutique.
