Warehouse Associate and Backup Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

Day shift hours Monday-Friday. Weekends off. Full-time and direct-hire to the company with full benefits package and paid time off.

We are currently seeking a warehouse professional willing to perform the duties of a backup non-CDL Sprinter Van delivery driver as needed. This is a full-time, direct-hire position Monday-Friday day shift. Local deliveries will be in the Leetsdale, PA where the warehouse is located.

Role Responsibilities

• An essential function of this role requires employees to lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds. Attention to safety is vital, the use of proper lifting and lowering techniques should be used at all times (adjust your body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot). You may also need to become accustomed to the fluctuating temperatures in which you will perform your duties. As this position is customer-facing, an excellent customer focus attitude is critical for success.
• Required: Clean driving record, compliance with state and local laws, at least 23 years of age, familiar geographically with the roads in the Detroit metro area, comfortable lifting 70lbs, basic math skills, excellent customer service skills, and high school diploma or GED
• You will be driving the company Sprinter Van and transporting Wurth Baer Supply products to customers when needed. The cargo consists of cabinets, hardware, wood/laminate, and lacquer/finish. You will use an app via a company-provided cell phone to plan your route. As one of the most often seen representatives of the Company, you will conduct yourself in a positive and friendly manner and provide quality service with each delivery. • Process orders, locating products, handling returns
• Assist customers with loading their order onto their vehicles
• Assist with general warehouse responsibilities (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
• Good communication skills
• Some Will Call experience a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
• Forklift experience
