We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Foreman to lead on-site teams and operate heavy machinery for custom outdoor construction projects. Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, skid steers, and backhoes.
- Lead, train, and supervise on-site crew members.
- Interpret blueprints and site plans for proper grades, elevations, and layouts.
- Maintain a safe and compliant job site (OSHA standards).
- Troubleshoot site challenges and resolve issues efficiently.
- Oversee and report equipment maintenance needs.
- Perform layout and grade verification to meet project and city standards.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services.
- Ensure timely, high-quality project completion.
- 3 years operating equipment such as Bobcat or mini-excavators.
- 2 years experience in stone or large-block retaining wall construction (preferred).
- Valid Class A CDL (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of shoring, slope cutting, and safe stone handling practices.
- Comfortable performing physical labor including excavation.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a working mobile phone.
- Experience towing heavy equipment.
- Willingness to travel and attend mandatory training sessions.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
