Job Summary
Wilson AC & Appliance is seeking a Appliance Repair Technician - In Training to join our team. In this role, you will be given training and appliances in the shop to learn hands-on how to fix household appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. This is a great role for someone who is looking to change career directions, work in an in-demand and growing field, and gain lots of technical and soft skills to build a great career. The training role is expected to last six months to one year and progress into the in-home technician role where you have even greater earning potential with uncapped commissions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Repair appliances
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills
