Summary: Delivers quality service to the Frim by performing general maintenance and repairs to the office premises, furniture and equipment. Assists with office moves and setups, conference room setups, furniture assembly and installation and performs service calls, Has knowledge of plumbing, locksmith, carpentry & HVAC. Shift: Wednesday and Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Friday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain professional appearance of premises. Perform light maintenance/facilities duties, including but not necessarily limited to patching/painting, changing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other work requests, tracking to completion. Monitor temperature throughout premises, troubleshoot HVAC problems, if needed, notify HVAC vendor for repair. Assist with office moves, furniture breakdown, installation, reconfigurations, and relocations. Perform conference room setups for meetings and events (chairs, flip charts, easels, screens, etc.). Serve as a point of contact for external vendors. Maintain communication with building management. Thoroughly inspect premises and report potential hazards or major incidents to Facilities Director. Work occasionally requires more than 35 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Perform other tasks as directed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Light knowledge of plumbing, locksmith, HVAC, carpentry. Ability to perform minor repairs to furniture and equipment. Ability to climb ladders, lift and move heavy objects. Ability to operate HVAC equipment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Education and Experience: High School Diploma. Three to five years of general maintenance experience. Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000-$70,000. The base salary offer is based on a variety of factors which includes, but not limited to, qualifications, education and experience.
