What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER position at Wagman?
We are seeking a Construction Engineer to join or Wagman Heavy Civil team to assist with our Pennsylvania projects. There will be a focus on bridge and heavy highway work, concrete, and transportation. Experience in heavy civil construction preferred and an understanding of structural engineering helpful. This candidate will aid in project management and completion.

Founded in 1902, Wagman is a nationally recognized leader in the industry. We are multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Core competencies include : design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical construction services.
This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
- Heavy Highway experience , including scheduling and coordinating subcontractors.
- Familiar with grading, drainage, paving bridge construction, concrete, retaining walls, and all other highway construction scopes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
