Wai'alae Elementary School After-School Program (W ) staff duties:
- Supervise a group of 20 Elementary-age students during after-school hours.
- Plan and implement fun and engaging group activities for our students.
- Implementing health/safety guidelines to ensure safety of all participants in the program.
- Interacting with students and their families, working independently as well as a team to create an enriching, fun, and safe environment.
- Cleaning/upkeep of program areas throughout the day.
Hours:
- M, T, TH, F 2:00pm - 5:45pm / Wed 1:15pm - 5:45pm
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training:
- TB Test required.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- CPR/First Aid Certified preferred.
- Previous experience working with children.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Requires an understanding of children ages 5 - 11 years regarding the social aspect, physical fitness/play, and the overall child development.
- A background in elementary-age group management skills.
- Self-motivated, self-confident people who enjoy working with elementary-age students.
- Collaborative team members who are able to communicate clearly and effectively.

Schedule:
