What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometry Assistant position at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Vision Care Manager or designee, the Optometry Assistant is responsible for coordinating the daily administration of services and tasks to support the clinic operations. In addition, under the supervision of the Optometry providers, the Optometry Assistant performs clinical support duties to promote safe and efficient patient services.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Current BCLS certification required
3. One year of optometry experience in an optometry setting or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
