What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Technician position at Wake Wireless?
This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing level 1 support technical support assistance to our internet and VoIP subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- A self-starter who is capable of working efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
- Assisting prospective customers with their inquiries about our internet plans, rates, and service availability
- Assisting network administrator with maintenance
- Accepting payments from customers via telephone
- Scheduling service calls
- Remotely troubleshooting customer premises equipment to resolve internet connectivity issues
- Using listening skills to understand the needs of the customer
- Remaining calm and professional while dealing with upset customers, and providing them with the best solutions to resolve their issues
- Migration to CRM
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and diffuse tension
- Proficiency using Microsoft Windows 7/10
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A desire and openness to learning new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of call center, customer service, or help-desk experience
Starting Pay Range
- $12 $15/hr
