Summary
This position is a part of Transportation/ Logistics Accounting Team. The Part-Time Junior Accountant- is responsible for the maintaining of cost accounting data for transportation subsidiaries.
Essential Functions
- Data entry related to facilitating collection of data for various types of business reports, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes related to Consolidation of Cost accounting deliverables for two transportation subsidiaries.
- Assist preparation of weekly flash reports and weekly productivity reports. These business reports are distributed on a weekly basis to the management, business partners and other stakeholders.
- Assist preparing related Journal Entries and Schedules
- Adhere to internal control and accounting policies
- Assist with any other projects related to the department
- May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary.

- Preferred Four year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field preferred
- Familiarity with Financial Systems (Oracle, Rapid, SAP etc.) preferred
- Strong Microsoft office skills, including knowledge of Excel
- Strong time management, multi-tasking and organization skills (ability to maintain a high level of flexibility)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player within deadlines
