Job Overview
The Technical Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure smooth production processes and minimize downtime. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to equipment care and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills by interacting professionally and courteously with coworkers, management, and contractors to ensure efficient coordination of operations.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately for compliance and tracking.
- Monitor and maintain machinery and perform routine inspections to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to ensure machines remain in optimal working condition.
- Identify potential wear-and-tear issues and schedule timely maintenance or repairs to prevent disruptions.
- Coordinate facility maintenance by contacting appropriate professionals or vendors to address facility maintenance.
- Utilizing a strong technical background the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform maintenance tasks efficiently and independently, demonstrating the ability to complete work with minimal to no supervision.
- Ensure that products are produced consistently meeting or exceeding established criteria. This includes following established procedures, quality control checks, and the desire to satisfy customer expectations.
- Fulfill duties in a safe, responsible manner in keeping with plant safety guidelines, safe work practices, and applicable regulations. Wear required PPE and ensure it is appropriate to job at hand. Keep area tidy/free of hazards and ensure safe disposal of scrap and waste.
- Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
