Overview
Waldom Electronics has an exciting career opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining highly effective business relationships with assigned accounts on a day-to-day basis as well as identifying and onboarding new clients, growth of bookings and sales. You will be responsible for managing timely needs of the customers, identifying new opportunities/solutions to grow, and maximize the clients’ customer experience. You will work with the Sales Manager and VP’s of Strategic Partnerships to collaborate, create, and implement targeted sales strategies to maintain and grow sales, margins, and increase ways that our customers can benefit from Waldom Electronics service and/or product offerings.
How you will spend your time
- Develop and manage strong business relationships with assigned accounts by providing exemplary and timely service and support.
- Own pre and post sales by answering emails, support boxes, phone calls, inquiries and preparing quotes.
- Proactive calling and strategic presentations of Waldom solutions to determine opportunities and grow accounts.
- Collect business intelligence/internal data, load into CRM, and identify projects to drive continuous improvement/growth.
- Meet and/or exceed sales, bookings, and revenue targets to help achieve our goals.
- The position sells products, services, and programs by providing unique product/service solutions to solve client related problems.
- Ability to communicate and partner with internal and external resources (e.g., quality, operations, finance, purchasing, sales, and other account reps etc.) to leverage best-in-class outcomes for your customers.
- Accountability in driving continuous improvement and supporting the team with individual/personal, departmental, or team projects.
- Support and coverage for other accounts and team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned supporting Waldom.
We are excited if you have...
- Bachelors degree in either sales, marketing or business
- 3 years of inside or outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to successfully leverage office technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Smartsheet, HubSpot etc.) and proprietary systems (e.g., CRM tools).
- Track record of successfully managing a business with a variety of client needs and expectations in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
- Highly effective sales skills, including professional demeanor, and outstanding phone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft professional e-mails, client-related documents, and highly effective presentation skills.
- Proven problem-solving, problem management, and conceptual skills. Including the ability to make valid conclusions from assessing customer orders, operational, and financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, balancing the day to day and strategic customer needs driving highly-satisfied customer outcomes.
- Team-oriented operating style with outstanding interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, professional demeanor that allow successful business interactions with individuals of a variety of work styles, personalities, and career levels.
We would prefer you have…
- 5 years of inside or outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
- Strong communication, relationship building, accountability and proven sales performance.
- Previous work experience in an environment involving electronic/electrical components.
Location: This position will be located in our Rockford, IL headquarters office.
