Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for a **full-time, tenure-track Librarian** at the Walla Walla campus. The start date is at the beginning/during the Fall quarter in September 2025.

In addition, this position will take a lead role in managing library digital collections and services in support of the library's learner-centered mission. This position will support the implementation and administration of existing and emerging technologies that enhance the leaner's experience and engagement within the library and across the curriculum. Equity is core to our work and as such, this position will also promote and manage digital services (eResources and library website for example) to achieve a positive information discovery and engagement experience by ensuring maximum visibility, accessibility and usability for our campus community. The person in this position will also collaborate closely with the library's Open Educational Resource coordinator on the creation, adoption, or "re-mixing" of open educational resources.
Tenure-track faculty are expected to participate in professional service activities and pursue meaningful professional development that supports their currency and continued growth in their professional field and ability to advance best practices in student learning. - General Description:
- We seek a learner-centered, proactive, and innovative librarian to provide general and specialized instruction and reference services. Major responsibilities include course-related information literacy instruction in multiple modalities including face to face and virtual environments and utilizing eLearning tools (LMS, Panapto, etc.); in-person and virtual reference service; development of print and web-based (such as LibGuides) research and instructional materials; consultation with faculty to support their research and course development; and participation in collection development efforts and the co-lead college Open Educational Efforts.
