We have an immediate opportunity for the right candidate in our structural engineering practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Candidate must have previous experience in the structural design of wood, masonry, steel and concrete structures. Candidate must be able to plan, develop, and direct engineering projects varying in size and complexity. Successful candidate must be able to earn the confidence of our clients through elegant, practical, and timely engineering solutions. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually.

Responsibilities and Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil (with structural emphasis), Structural, or Architectural Engineering
- Licensed engineer in the state of Georgia or have the ability to get licensed there through reciprocity
- Define scope of services and prepares proposals for projects with Principal approval
- Assume responsible charge for engineering projects when applicable; willing and able to sign and seal engineering documents
- Plan, develop and coordinate complex projects and directs the work of several staff members
- Understands and positively influences financial aspects of projects
- Good and developing leadership, management and client relationship skills
- Conducts or directs construction observations
- Conducts investigations of existing buildings
- Acts as a mentor to other employees
- Join local organizations and actively help with marketing and business development
