Keen Transport is seeking Forklift Operators at our Pooler, GA facility!
In this role you will be responsible for the safe and accurate receiving and shipment of parts to and from the facility. The primary objective is to have zero mis-shipments and cargo claims.
Starting pay is $17-18 per hour, depending on experience.
Your background and experience include:
- Ability to safely load and unload construction parts to/from trailers using light and/or heavy forklift for the purpose of receiving or shipment from the yard;
- Ability to operate various construction equipment to accomplish receiving and shipping responsibilities,
- Ability to load/unload construction parts on/off trailers using light and heavy forklifts
- Ability to scale all loads that are pre-loaded for drivers including gross weight, axle weights, and axle groups, and verify road worthiness of trailer.
- Ability to operate hand tools regularly used in loading or yard activity such as banding machines, air wrenches and hammers, or other commonly used hand tools.
- Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
- Current valid driver's license
