Waller Group Property Management is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Property Manager to join our team. The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 58-unit multifamily property in Huntsville, TX. This position includes managing leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and financial performance to ensure the property is meeting or exceeding expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including advertising vacancies, screening potential residents, and completing lease agreements.
- Ensure timely rent collection and enforce lease terms and policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure the property is well-maintained and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner to promote resident satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leasing, maintenance, and financial performance.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and regularly review financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to property management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of property management experience, preferably in a multifamily setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to property management.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation and benefits:
- $40,000 - $55,000 per year depending on experience
