Walpole Public Schools is seeking a teacher aide (recess), 18.75 hours per week at Fisher Elementary School, effective August 26, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.
Teacher Aide Role:
The Teacher Aide supervises students during lunch and recess periods. The teacher aide also provides clerical support to teachers and administration.
Duties:
- Work under the direction of the principal as well as classroom teachers.
- Supervise students on the playground and in classrooms during indoor recess.
- Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
- Provide support to ensure student safety and emotional regulation.
- Provide clerical support for staff using duplicating, cutting, laminating, and binding equipment.
- Maintain an orderly and clean workstation.
- Assist with student transitions in the classroom and around the building.
Salary and benefits per the Cafeteria/Teacher Aide Contract.
