Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time)

Walt Churchill’s Market is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician at our Perrysburg, OH location.

Responsibilities:

• Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy
• Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information
• Verifying the accuracy of patient information
• Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels
• Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication
• Processing patient insurance
• Must be trained to immunize

Pharmacy hours are:

Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm

Saturday: 9am-5pm

Sunday: Closed

Schedule:

This position will require a varied schedule of 5 shifts per week, including rotating Saturdays, totaling 40 hours per week. No Sundays or major holidays.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in a pharmacy
• Must be trained to immunize
• High school degree or GED required
• The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks
• Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
• Must be able to pass a background check
