We are a local CPA firm that offers tax, accounting, payroll, and financial planning services to Newberg, Oregon and the surrounding area. Our business clients are in multiple industries, but generally small businesses and local. We also house a robust business working with individuals and trusts.

What we need:
Our growth is currently limited by the capacity of our CPA group. Currently we have 3 full time and 2 part time CPAs. The owners prefer to transition the firm to the next generation of CPAs within the next 5 years so those seeking to grow into a partner role will find a great opportunity. Pay for all of our associates is based on skills and experience.
The following are skills we have immediate need for, the more the better! If you don’t have all of them you may still apply, but you must have some of the skills and experience on this list:
- A license to practice as a Certified Professional Accountant in Oregon or at a minimum a path to licensing within 12 months.
- A sound understanding of financial statement presentation and accounting principles.
- An ability to analyze client ledger accounts and make correcting adjusting journal entries when necessary.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- An educational certification in accounting.
- An educational degree in accounting.
- Experience in preparing Corporation, S-Corporation, and Partnership tax returns.
- Experience preparing individual tax returns.
- Certification as an Enrolled Agent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing or reviewing bank account reconciliations.
- Experience with payroll preparation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
- A cheerful attitude and willingness to serve co-workers and clients.
- Organizational skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
