The Line/Prep Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of dishes and sides according to provided recipes in a timely manner. This role requires you to have knowledge and skills using several types of cooking utensils and equipment. This role will also require knowledge and skills for front of house tasks such as preparing coffee drinks using brewing equipment, operating POS system, and helping to serve customers.

The Line/Prep Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of dishes and sides according to provided recipes in a timely manner. This role requires you to have knowledge and skills using several types of cooking utensils and equipment. This role will also require knowledge and skills for front of house tasks such as preparing coffee drinks using brewing equipment, operating POS system, and helping to serve customers.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Pre-assemble breakfast sandwiches and other items for quick service
- Prepare and plate sandwiches, salads & pizza based on customers orders
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serving prepared food
- Check if brewing recruitment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Receive and process payments
- Deliver Best in Class customer service
- Food safety certification
- At least two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures including TurboChef oven
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment / previous work experience as a Barista
