Classroom Assistant (Pre-Kindergarten)

Ware Academy is seeking a classroom assistant to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidate will support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing a quality instructional program. Duties include:

• Maintains a pattern of prompt and regular attendance
• Assist in meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of students
• Supervises students in all areas of the school.
• Communicates clearly and positively with students
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher
• Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in school environment and community.

This is a 9-month position with summers off.

Start date: December 2, 2024

Salary is based on qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19,500.00 - $25,000.00 per year
