- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid to create detailed cost breakdowns
- Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals to clients, including pricing and project timelines
- Conduct negotiations with clients to finalize contract terms and pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as needed
- Provide support to project teams by reviewing change orders and assessing their impact on project budgets
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in construction materials and labor costs

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
