Position Overview:
Warwick Mechanical Group is seeking an experienced VDC Modeler / Coordinator with strong Revit skills and a solid background in mechanical or plumbing systems modeling. The ideal candidate can produce detailed spools, handle clash detection, and represent our team in coordination meetings. You’ll play a key role in supporting construction through accurate fabrication-ready models and direct collaboration with field and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:· Model mechanical and/or plumbing systems in Revit to LOD 400, including insulation and hangers
· Generate accurate spool drawings and prefab deliverables
· Use Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes with other trades
· Lead or participate in weekly coordination meetings with GC and other trades
· Interpret construction documents, submittals, and specs to ensure model accuracy
· Collaborate with field foremen and project managers to verify constructability
· Maintain clean, organized models that follow internal VDC standards
· Track and communicate modeling progress and clash status with the VDC Manager
Qualifications:· Proficient in Revit with 2 years of mechanical or plumbing modeling experience
· Experience using SysQue, eVolveMEP, or Fabrication Parts for detailing and spooling
· Hands-on experience with spool sheet generation and hanger layout
· Familiarity with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
· Comfortable running or supporting coordination meetings
· Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
· Working knowledge of MEP systems and general construction processes
Preferred:· Background in the mechanical or plumbing trades
· Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
· Experience creating point files or supporting field layout workflows
· Exposure to Virginia or Mid-Atlantic construction projects
