Summary

We are seeking a Floor Nurse to join our team at Washington Care Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their medical needs. This position is vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure residents' comfort.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate residents and families on health management and wellness strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Experience in case management or medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to document medical information accurately and efficiently.
