Intern Partner Success (Season Long)

The Washington Commanders are seeking a Partner Success Intern to join the Corporate Partnerships department. This role will support in the execution, client service and development of the Washington Commanders Partnership portfolio. This individual will be detail-oriented and able to manage various tasks and meet deadlines, while focusing on learning the ins and outs of partner management and optimization.

This role reports to the Director of Partner Success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Partner Success department in the execution and delivery of all corporate partners of the Washington Commanders
  • Assist with gameday sponsorship fulfillment and activation throughout the season; inclusive of special events, game days, community activations and client meetings
  • Assist Partnership Success & Solutions team with tracking partnership inventory throughout the season
  • Organize analytics tracking and proof of performance for partner recaps and meetings using various 3rd party sources (ex: Trajektory, Wakefield and others)
  • Support Partnerships team with the development of deal sheets and asset management materials using KORE CRM software
  • Serve as host and point of contact for the Partnership hospitality suite during all event days
  • Responsible for tracking all VIP game day hospitality for the department
  • Assist in the implementation and trafficking of digital and physical partner signage across the stadium and team owned media channels
  • Serve as on-site support for all partnership events, including off-site events and player appearances
  • Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by departmental leadership.

Key Skills/Qualifications Required

  • Ability to commute to Commanders Front Office (Riverdale, MD), BigBear.ai Performance Center (Ashburn, VA) and Northwest Stadium (Landover, MD)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work all Commanders home preseason and regular season games
  • Ability to work events outside of normal business hours/days (i.e. evenings and weekends)
  • Access to a car is required
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities in a high-energy environment.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a positive, winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Prior work experience in professional or college sports marketing or sales preferred
