What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Technician III position at Washington County, Oregon?
Ideal Candidate
The Survey Technician III is the advanced journey level class in the Survey Technician series. Positions at this level are distinguished from other classes within the series by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the most difficult and responsible types of duties assigned to classes within this series. In depth knowledge of survey related laws and statutes are a necessity along with knowledge of boundary resolution and deed interpretation. Good verbal and written communication skills are needed.
Education and Experience
Associates Degree in surveying, mathematics, geographic information systems, construction management, engineering, forestry, or related field; AND Two (2) years of responsible experience in boundary, cadastral or construction surveying. OR
Four (4) years of responsible experience in boundary, cadastral or construction surveying, which includes functional lead or training personnel experience.
