JOB TITLE: Vendor Coordinator
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Waste Disposal Solutions’ National Accounts Program specializes in managing the waste and recycling needs of regional and national corporations. Our mission is to significantly reduce material sent to landfills by identifying cost-effective disposal solutions while offering detailed sustainability and expense reporting for our clients.
JOB OVERVIEW: As a Project Team Assistant, you will work closely with store managers to assess their specific waste and recycling requirements, identifying and implementing the most cost-effective solutions. You will also communicate with vendors to negotiate competitive pricing for services. Expertise in using Excel to manage and analyze large-scale bidding projects is a key component of this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct research to address customer inquiries and provide data-driven solutions.
· Serve as the main point of contact for customer communications and vendor negotiations.
· Proactively solve problems and handle escalated customer issues with efficiency and professionalism.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and follow-through.
· Maintain a positive attitude at work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
· Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and vendors professionally.
· Advanced Excel skills, including the use of basic formulas for pricing analysis and comparison.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· A casual office setting with cubicle workstations. This is an in-office position, not remote.
