Automotive Parts Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead and oversee the Parts Department at our Mitsubishi dealership. This is a key leadership role requiring strong parts knowledge, organization, and dealership experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing day-to-day parts department operations
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels and controls
• Overseeing parts ordering, pricing, and vendor relationships
• Managing and training parts staff
• Ensuring excellent customer service for internal and external customers
• Meeting departmental goals and maintaining profitability

Requirements:

• Automotive parts experience is required (management experience strongly preferred)
• Prior dealership parts department experience
• Strong knowledge of parts inventory control, ordering, and wholesale/retail operations
• Experience with Dealertrack is a plus
• Ability to work closely with Service and Sales departments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on experience with inventory management techniques including demand planning, inventory control, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent data entry skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping in DealerTrack or similar systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and external partners.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, including shipping & receiving procedures and sourcing strategies for parts procurement
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
