What are the responsibilities and job description for the LIFT OPERATOR position at Waterville Valley Resort?
Waterville Valley Resort is seeking full-time and part-time, seasonal lift operators for the 2022-2023 winter season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring chair lifts for safety; helping anyone needing assistance getting on/off lift; participating in opening and closing of lift operations; checking for valid tickets; conducting inspections and test procedures; and preparing daily reports. Requirements are: high school diploma, ability to stay alert, ability to respond quickly to safety concerns and excellent communication skills. Must have ability to shovel snow and ice, and to endure standing for long periods of time on snow surfaces in variable weather conditions. Must be a team player.
