What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier position at Watkins & Eager PLLC?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Delivery, pick up and filing of documents at local and out of county courts;
Pick up mail from post office, sort and distribute;
Log in and distribute Fed Ex and UPS packages daily;
Check copy machines and network printers for paper and toner;
Stock the refrigerator with drinks;
Straighten, organize, and clean the service center and conference rooms;
Green plant and courtyard maintenance;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications desired:
Ability to read and write at a level normally acquired through completion of high school or equivalent;
Basic knowledge of office equipment, including computer and copiers.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow instruction of attorneys and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact;
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints;
Ability to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 50 lbs.;
Work may require irregular hours to perform the essential duties of the position.
Some overtime may be required.
Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
Requires minimum insurance coverage limit of $100,000 per person liability, $300,000 per accident and $50,000 property.Must be able to keep matters confidential.
