The Glen hosts a diverse portfolio of premier sports car, open wheel and stock car races throughout the year. Summary: The Event Experience Specialist is responsible for assisting the Special Events Department in the strategic development and implementation of new and existing major events. Responsibilities: Assist the Special Events Department in all areas of event planning and event activation Support the Coordinator, Special Events with event responsibilities Collaborate with other departments prior to and during event execution Assist with all Fan Experience activations including pre-race, Victory Lane, driver appearances, NASCAR Kids Zone, and concerts Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed Qualifications and Requirements: Associate’s degree or 2 years into bachelor’s degree: Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends as required Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers; display superior judgement and diplomatic skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, self-motivation, and professionalism; Must be highly organized and detail oriented The ability to handle multiple tasks with organization and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research, and experience working with databases Apply Now!
