**This is a Hybrid role based out of our Vancouver, BC office.**
About you
The Assistant, Insurance and Enterprise Risk, will be responsible for applying their organizational and Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance knowledge to understand contracts, written correspondence, and insurance policies. As a key member, you’ll provide administrative support to the global risk management team. You’ll be a team player in preparing the insurance applications and underwriting data, gathering and verifying data on risk exposures under supervision, and performing any administrative tasks to support the overall global risk management team.
In this role, you will…
Certificates of insurance (issue, train new users manage, user list, renewal list, training documents, email blast (post renewal regarding changes to templates), provide guidance to broker regarding certs and expectations, answer question on certs).
All Insurance inboxes - monitor and disburse emails to appropriate person(s) as needed, answer insurance questions as required.
All underwriting schedules (add/delete locations) updating and troubleshooting questions with stakeholders.
Colliers Hub (company intranet) page updates and internal team guidelines setup & updates
Invoices (submit and administer insurance program, claims invoices and expenses invoices).
Filing and documentation (Renewal info, binders, policies, invoices).
Insurance documents preparation and tracking (insurance visual, comprehensive summary, credit renewal project, Coupa renewal invoices & coding).
Claims record management (data entry and research in our Risk Management System)
What you’ll bring
1 years’ relevant experience in the areas of commercial property and casualty insurance or equivalent post secondary education
Advanced knowledge of AdobePro and MS Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint.
Possess the ability to comprehend insurance policies and Certificate of Insurance.
Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or working towards one.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $ 51,0882.00 to $76,623.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
