Watson Apparel is looking for a Full Time Loss Prevention Associate to join our Corporate Office!
Responsibilities for Loss Prevention
- Monitor stores and warehouse for potential threats
- Identify potential thieves or vandals among staff or patrons
- In some instances, monitor displays or changing rooms, both of which can provide additional opportunities to steal merchandise
- Review inventory and stock and investigate suspected pilferage by employees
- Document theft and other security violations
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
Qualifications for Loss Prevention
- Prior experience in loss prevention or educational background in loss prevention, security or law enforcement (preferred)
- 1-3 years retail experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior observational skills
- Working knowledge of surveillance camera controls
- Ability to recognize unsafe working environments
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Knowledgeable on safety processes and procedures
