We specialize in medium to large capacity ASME water heaters for commercial and institutional buildings including schools, hotels, hospitals, dormitories, apartments, correctional facilities and military barracks. Many of our products are “engineered-to-order” to exactly match the requirements of the application. PVI Industries, LLC, a manufacturer of commercial and industrial water heaters and boilers, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist. This position provides inside technical product support to end users, customers and third-party service contractors. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Use Enterprise Application Software and CRM Systems document and manage service functions. Contract and provide technical product support and guidance to third-party service contractors. Expertise in the installation, operation and service of commercial water heating equipment. A self-starter with ability to work in a team oriented call-center support environment. Effectively communicate at different levels of the organization both internally & externally. Minimal travel may be required for training and customer support. After-hours on-call technical support on a rotating basis. EDUCATION: Associates Degree or equivalent preferred, 5 years’ experience in the water heating and boiler industry, Field service coordination/project management experience. MANAGEMENT: No direct reports EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience working with and troubleshooting complex systems Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail are required. Able to communicate technical information easily Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and knowledge of the same Basic Computer Skills including competency with Microsoft Office *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing duties of the job, employee is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
