Dental Assistant
Waukesha Dental Solutions has a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a busy, growing practice with a high-functioning team as a Dental Assistant.
What you will do:
As a Dental Assistant you will work to enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As a Dental Assistant you will:
- Sterilization of instruments
- Room turnover with proper sterilization technique
- Assist Hygienists
- Maintain Cleanliness of office
- Assisting chair-side with doctor
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Using computers to update electronic patient records
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed
- Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
- Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental assistant experience, preferred, but open to train the right candidate
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Previous customer service or office experience
- Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
Hours:
- This is a full-time position with a minimum of 4 days/week
