What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preventative Maintenance Technician III (CMD) position at Waukesha Pearce Industries?
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction type equipment.
- Must do service reports, timecards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner.
- Ensure that all jobs working on are completed, and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manor.
- Make sure that the work site space that was utilized is cleaned after every job is finished.
- Must take advantage of all service schools and training programs that are offered by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years in a Preventative Maintenance or similar role.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)
- Must have a understanding of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
- Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier.
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
- Must have the ability to affectively and safely operate and test equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
- May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous work environments.
- Some temporary adjustments to hour of operation, as work requires.
