Position Overview:
As a Dental Business Administrator at Wave Dental Specialists, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. You will oversee business operations, manage patient flow, maintain financial records, and ensure the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of dental office operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling, patient flow, and inventory management.
- Financial Management: Handle billing, insurance verification, patient payments, and bookkeeping tasks. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with budgeting.
- Team Support: Support the dental team by managing human resources tasks such as recruitment, training, and scheduling. Ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Patient Communication: Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries, including appointment scheduling, billing questions, and general concerns. Ensure a high level of customer service.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that the practice adheres to dental regulations, safety protocols, and privacy policies (HIPAA compliance).
- Marketing & Growth: Assist with marketing efforts to promote the practice, including social media management, community outreach, and patient retention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Knowledge of dental office software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance processes and billing procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
